not payin attention is betta than sleep rite??
so we came up wif tis piece of paper.. (lazy 2 take d pic)
so,
cheapest bread in nz ( last for 1 week, of corz expired, put in fridge oni la) = $ 1.89
cheapest milk in nz (last for 5 days) = $2.89
breakfast for 1 week = $4.78 = RM 11.95
what can we do with RM 11.95 in msia?
- 7 pieces of salmon only costs RM 7.95 ( RM4 change)
- 5 lekors for RM1 (either RM 10.95 change or 60 lekors)
- Pak Li lemon chic rice for RM4.80 ( can have two, and stil have change)
- secret recipe cakes, RM 5.50 ( can have two and still have change too)
- nasi lemak for RM1 (12 nasi lemak??)
- redbox, RM7 for 3 hours
- nice nasi ayam goreng berempah for RM4
- KFC for rm8.95
- 3 nice nice curry puffs for RM 1
- nasi goreng in cemara for RM 2.50 or RM 3 max
- air tebu for RM 1.20
- ramli burger special + telur for RM 3.50
- good quality, high 5 bread (RM 2.50) and dutch lady milk (RM 3) , RM 5.50
so, with cheapest bread and milk in nz, u can get good quality bread n milk in msia for 2 weeks, plus RM 0.95 change..
- J co donuts for RM 2.50
- GSC tic for RM 9, or in penang, student price RM5, or in swak, RM 5 on tues n weds
or, u can add RM 2 for nice til can die de Manhattan Fish & chips
and the scariest thing is,
4 weeks of cheapest milk and bread in nz
can get u a tic fr KL 2 swak (promotion, RM 39.90)
and get RM 8.10 change
which you can buy
40 lekors or
8 nasi lemak or
3 hours redbox or
student price GSC tic or
2 nasi ayam berempah or

and
by buying all of them, u still can get change..
I GONNA SPEND WITHOUT LOOKING AT THE PRICE IN MSIA..
y on earth i will complain tat there is not enuf money for me 2 spend in shah alam? and jimat this jimat that..

U noe tat equation i used quite some time to derive de lo~ haha... first i come here, i owaz think twice or even thrice when i wan eat food which costs NZD 6... but now i oledi sien diao dy... dun nid think liao... juz take it if hungry la... since it's food, shud b fine gua~ haha... i numb liao~ so mayb soon u're gonna get numb lo...
i get numb too.. if think lai think ki, wat oso no need eat d lo.. haha.. tis is juz tat the lecturer super duper boring, then i paiseh 2 sleep already.. so ma find tis 2 do lo.. good thing, make me love msia more.. lol..
*but i think chee jie is right, when i go bac msia, i stil will think RM2 food is expensive when i can get so much food wif RM1 in pasar malam.. lol

no unfortunately not. Sushi if you convert back to ringgit it's the same, that's why sushi costs so much in m'sia :( Since coming here i don't take sushi or sashimi very often, actually quite rare. For a set of about 8-10 sushis at the supermarket, it's about rm24..700 yen lidat, still expensive
cheapest bread in brisbane = $1.09
cheapest milk (i dun drink milk, so i dont know...)
cheapest egg in brisb = $2.09
(not sure last how long, depends on how frequent u eat)
i din really convert now when i buy food, dun k la, fan zheng eat into my stomach de mah, should treat myself better...haha!!
anw, if convert, i will cry every night...
n i nvr feel paiseh to sleep in clz. haha!
