ok so..
on saturday the 23rd of August, we went to an event called unity and diversity(juz love d idea, unity, and diversity), organised by MUSA (massey university student association).. d tic is oni $5, which is quite cheap! haha.. and the performance was great, was held in the globe theatre..
the 1st performance was from Samoan Students, the music was real real nice!! record the dance juz because i want d music..lol..but of corz the dance was great too..
Then itz performance from Bhutanese/Nepalese Society..oni two people performing, and i think itz d dance of d guy going after a girl.. wat amaze me is, the guy is actually a girl!(which i won realise if no one tells me)
the next one, YAY, is from MUMSA, our Massey university MALAYSIAN stundent association!! great great n great!! the malay dance made me feel like i m home, and it has been such a long time since i see malay dance performance! (yea, how i miss intec again).. chinese dance, para para sakura was used, as modern chinese dance, and all my friends did really really great job!! the best part is the indian dance, as always, indian dance attracts the most attention! seems hardest too!! fellow malaysians, i am proud of u all!! (and yay, we got the prize of Unique Performance), prize giving according to how loud the cheer is, and my voice changed after d prize giving.. lol..(din take much picture, corz i want to concentrate to see my friends..haha..)
then, itz performance from Massey University FireClub, but corz of safety reason, glow sticks were used instead of fire poi n fire sticks, but itz still awesome!! look at d effect!!
and yea, d next is from our neighbour, Indonesia, performing Saman dance, which is realli realli awesome! (got best dress and best performance woohoo).. this dance is relli amazing, corz i bliv tat it needs a lot of practice and coordination and it hurts corz u gotta hit hard on d ground.. :Sthe next performance is from the Burmese's Cultural Group, not relli sure watz it about =P, but the costumes look good..
then, itz Omani students, (saudi arabian?) they started with some kind of sketch and then dance..(i love d light of tis foto!look like desert rite? lol)
and next one is from Kribati students, the dance is sorta joyous dance and it has something to do wif Jesus Christ.. and yea, d song is cheerful, so are the costumes..
Last one, from Tongan students, d girl is really cute and sweet! and the costume is very nice too yea? but she looks quite uncomfy wif her dress, as she wil adjust her dress once the music stops, but, she still smile sweetly thruout d whole performance.. Respect!

a great night, which i get to see so many different cultural dance.. and it is totally worth $5!! =)congrats malaysia! proud of u all!!=)

but, singing negaraku n merdeka song in foreign country is relli different..
ya ya i agree.. i almost cried when i was singing negaraku.. i sang loudly... more than 1 year i din sing it liao... T.T
ha? nearly cried? bo so kua zhang la..lol..
she's so patriotic... hehe...
haha yup itz almost lah i din cry if not tat one is really very kua zhang liao... hahhahaa
